The founder and chief executive officer of Worldwide Express, David Kiger brings years of experience as a businessperson and entrepreneur to his role at the firm. David Kiger is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s operations; he franchised the firm from the start, sold it to Allied Capital in 2007, and led the effort to buy the company back in 2009. With more than $500 million in annual sales, Worldwide Express is the foremost company of its kind in the United States. The company was also rated as the best company for young people to move up in their job by Glassdoor, a website that provides anonymous reviews about salaries and other aspects of businesses.
David Kiger completed his undergraduate education at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he graduated with a bachelor of arts in political science and psychology in 1985. In his spare time, Mr. Kiger enjoys tennis, traveling, art, and history.
